The Wolfsberg Group consists of leading international financial institutions: Banco Santander Central Hispano, S.A., Bank of America, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd., Barclays Bank, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, J.P. Morgan Chase, Société Générale, Standard Chartered, and UBS AG. Wolfsberg has issued principles and statements related to anti-money laundering, and terrorist financing controls, such as Correspondent Banking Principles , Private Banking Principles, AML Screening, Monitoring and Searching, and other documents. For the purpose of its documents, Wolfsberg says that anti-money laundering (AML) includes measures under counter-terrorist financing (CTF) and evasion of sanctions. The group is named after the city in Switzerland where the first working session of the group to formulate the guidelines was held. See:
